To ensure that the fish samples submitted to the laboratory for testing are tested according to established standards and results are released without delay.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Grade 12
3 Year`s tertiary qualification in the field of Food safety, microbiology, food technology, food science or related life sciences.
Work experience in a microbiological laboratory.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Aseptic product sampling according to the sampling plan
Microbiological testing of water, Fish, and all hygiene monitoring swabs
Organoleptic inspection of product
Chemical, consumable, and equipment inventory for the Lab
Equipment verification
Recording and reporting results.
