New Era Publication Corporation (NEPC) invites suitably qualified applicants for the position of Multi-Media Producer, Windhoek.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To assist with the production of multi-media production and provides technical expertise during production including editing and final documentation

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Formulate broadcast programming concepts and plan, develop, and implement live and/ or pre-recorded television programs
• Create, compose, and edit written materials
• Researches and develops ideas and schedules interviews
• Assist in the repair and upkeep of studio and production sets and properties

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting, Journalism, Mass Communications, or a related field from an accredited college or university
• NQF Level 7
Qualification in Digital Media Management is an added advantage
Two (2) years of experience in Broadcasting, Journalism, Mass Communications, or a related field
• A code 08 driver’s license is mandatory

COMPETENCY/SKILLS

• Language proficiency/writing skills
• Interpersonal skills
• Computer software application
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and In Design Digital Media Management Digital Production skills
