Job Description:
A job vacancy has arisen within Letshego Holdings Namibia for the above-mentioned position. the details of the role are outlined below:
Purpose of the Job:
- To provide leadership for the Company through developing and execution of overall company strategy in line with the entity’s strategic intent and brand promise.
- To develop sustainable competitive advantage in Customer Experience, Innovation, Risk Management, People Development and Stakeholder Engagement
Strategy and financial performance:
- Responsible for the strategy design, annual budget plans, capital appropriations, business profitability. Board administration and support and key stakeholder engagement
- Ensure company’s operations are within legal, compliance and regulatory standards
- Maintains and improves operational performance.
Customer Experience
- Leads world-class customer sales and service delivery through synergies across
- company management teams through enabling a customer centric operating model, competitor benchmarking, tracking market trends and personal customer engagement.
- Risk Management. including Corporate Govemance
- Establishes and maintains effective systems and controls to monitor and direct the working of all businesses, functions and operations in the company.
- Working with Group Finance, ensures that there is adequate funding for the business and that key liquidity ratios are managed effectively.
- Ensures the accuracy of regulatory and other reporting of risk limits and exposures for all products.
- Supports the Legal and Compliance aspects of Corporate Governance in the business.
Knowledge and Skills Required of the Job Holder.
- Completed Grade 12 with 25 points
- Masters* Degree in Business / Finance or equivalent.
- Minimum of 10 years in Financial Services organisation with at least 5 years at Executive Management level. Prior experience in micro-finance will be an added advantage.
- Ability to lead and build consensus and relationships among multi-disciplinary executives, partners, and the workforce, including management team leadership Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing the vision.
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills
- An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills
