Vacancy:
Senior Electrical Engineer
To manage, coordinate and oversee the overall electrical designs, infrastructure and systems requirements for petrochemical, water resources, mining and building projects.

Requirements:
⦁ BSc in Electrical Engineering
⦁ Registered with the Engineering Council of Namibia as a Professional or Incorporate Engineer
⦁ Minimum of 15years post qualification engineering experience within a consulting engineering firm
⦁ Experience in water supply and sanitation projects, mining projects, petrochemical industry and building services projects.
⦁ Experience in large AC Motor & VSD installations
Previous experience in high voltage power distribution systems and equipment. E 43 e ne nee in managing contractors for installation of switchboard sand MCC’s in the water and sanitation and mining projects Demonstrated knowledge of project management, construction, testing and commissioning and understanding safety requrements of construction in dusty.

Key Activities:
Leads and manages the detailed electrical engineering and design effort of the project from pre- concept/concept phase all the way to detailed, execution, testing and commission mg and handover Ensures that the project effectively and consistently applies to standards and procedures, detailed electrical design criteria, electrical safety and operability requirements.
Train and Mentor young Namibian engineering students.
