BSO (Business Services Outsourcing) includes Accounting Services, Taxation compliance and consulting, payroll outsourcing and business consulting.

 

Purpose:

You will ideally be an experienced senior with great communication and entrepreneurial skills. Your good organization skills and strong customer focus will assist you in making a great contribution to this energetic and dynamic team.

 

Responsibilities:

• Management of a team responsible for your portfolio;
• Liaising and interaction with key clients;
• Production of internal reports for stakeholders;
• Participation in the BDO client growth model and future expansion of this department;
• Monthly bookkeeping and accounting
• Dashboards and Management accounts
• Annual financial statements
• Tax compliance services – including annual and provisional tax
• VAT compliance
• Payroll services
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Business reviews
• Specialist business advice

Experience and Qualifications:

• B Comm degree with completed articles or equivalent;
• 3 – 5 years relevant experience;
• 5 years experience in Finacial Accounting.
• Registered as a Namibia Institute of Professional Accountant– NIPA (Nam);
• High level of workable knowledge of various accounting software packages, such as Xero, Pastel Accounting, Greatsoft, CaseWare Working Papers, etc.;
• Ability and willingness to train and develop NIPA Trainees to become Qualified NIPA’s.
