POST: HUMAN RESOURCE PRACTITIONER X1

Duty Station: St ‘Martin’s Hospital Oshikuku : Grade 8

Salary Scale 227 453-271 828

Purpose of the job

To provide general administrative support to the Human Resource Department in order to facilitate the achievement of departmental goals

Key Performance Areas:

• Respond to staff queries pertaining personnel matters
• Drafting letters and filling of all relevant documents in the HR department
• Filling and maintaining of an effective records system of all personnel information and documentation
• Responsible for advertisement of vacancies, recruitment, selection and staff induction
• Register the employees to their benefits such as to the pension fund, medical aid, social security

Education, Experience and Skills

• A 3 year diploma or B Degree in Human Resource Management from a recognized institution and administrative responsibilities in a human resource department
• Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Respect for confidentiality
• Conflict handling and decision making skills
• Clear logical thinking and analytical skills
• Good planning and organizational skills
• Understanding of the labour Act, HR policies and procedures
