PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

To prepare, organise and execute complex tasks in the field of production, maintenance, safety, quality and personnel management in such a way that production targets are met against the lowest possible costs and within the set quality standards. 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:

• A Diploma in Packaging, Supply Chain, or a Technical Field with at least 5 years’ experience in a high-speed packaging environment of which 3 years’ should be in a supervisory role.
• MS Office proficient
• FMCG experience will be an advantage

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Oversee the execution of production schedules according to the production plan
• Coordinate the operations of all packaging machines
• Maintain quality standards in area of responsibility
• Implement and maintain TPM on shift
• Report potential breakdowns
• Perform administrative duties
• Maintain Health and Safety standards
• Lead, coach and develop staff
