Description
Attend to visitors and deal with inquiries on the phone and face to face. Supply information regarding the organization to the general public, clients and customers.
Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately
Answer, screen and forward any incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed
Provide general administrative and clerical support
Prepare correspondence and documents
Ensure appointments are scheduled (when required to do so)
Receive and sort daily mail/deliveries/couriers
Ensure mail and couriers are ordered and send out to different branches nationally and internationally
Maintain security by following procedures and controlling access (monitor logbook)
Ensure First Aid replacement is ordered
Handle recruitment queries
Control inventory relevant to reception area
Tidy and maintain the reception area
Requirement(s)
Grade 12
3-5 years’ experience in admin related position
Ability to work a switchboard
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Be able to handle conflict situations
Be self-motivated, demonstrate initiative and be assertive
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Fluency in Afrikaans and English. Fluency in an additional native language will be a definite advantage
Namibian Citizenship
