Main purpose of this position: The primary purpose is to provide quality occupational services within the scope of practice.

Key Performance areas:

• Dispensing of Medication to Patients, Wards and Theatre.
• Manage formularies and implement new formulary items.
• Manage Stock Takes and Cycle Counts.
• Liaise with Nursing Staff and Doctors.
• Supervision and Control.

Qualifications, Skills, Competencies and Experience requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of appropriate experience.
• A university degree in pharmacist.
• Must be registered with the Health Professions Council of Namibia.
• Ability to work independently, patience, determination, enthusiasm and initiative.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and good team-working skills.
• Perform on-call, Weekend and Public Holiday duties as per duty roster.
