Job Summary
The Monitoring and Evaluation Lead will support data collection, data compilation, data cleaning, statistical analysis, and reporting of COVID-19 Vaccination rollout activities. The M&E Lead will be responsible to provide a supportive office administrative function to the collaborative project with the MoHSS, ensuring that computerized records are captured accurately and maintained in the prescribed manner. The position requires extensive contact with confidential patient medical records, and COVID-19 vaccination staff.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee quantitative and qualitative data collection tools, and data collection activities of the project.
- Support data management oversight to the vaccination teams to ensure data entry activities are completed including the COVID-19 vaccination cards.
- Performs routine data quality reviews and data quality improvement activities on electronic data sources and paper sources.
- Participate in training staff on data collection, entry, and use.
- Provide technical leadership and directly supervise district level data clerks
- Coordinate and conduct data analysis and reporting on achievements of project activities
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences (Health Information System, Population Studies, Public Health, Statistics/Biostatistics).
- Minimum one (2) years’ experience as a data clerk, data analyst or M&E officer.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility to travel within the country (50% of the project).
- Computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, statistical software) (This will be tested).
- Ability to analyze reports and develop strategies and responses based on data.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- In addition to English, preferably speaks at least one local language.
