The primary purpose of the role is to design, install, integrate, test, maintain software systems and programs in order to improve efficiency within the business..

KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build software by writing code, as well as, correcting system issues, adapting solutions to work with new technologies, within new environments and improving the overall system performance.
• Software testing based upon software design and specifications.
• Maintain and improve existing solutions and systems.
• Analyse user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
• Write and maintain technical design documentation/specification to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections.
• Report back to Senior Integration Specialist.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with stakeholders within the organisation.
• Prepare training manuals for users.
• Any ad hoc tasks required .

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE :

• Grade 12 and a relevant tertiary IT qualification.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Software Developer.
• Must have experience in C#.Net, ASP.Net, SQL.
• Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Valid Namibian driver’s license
• Namibian Citizen.
• Proficient in English (written & spoken).
