Nambe Health Plan is one erf the larger Namibian medical aid funds with a currant members’]p of 67 00C berwfaanes under administration. A Board of nominated and appointed ^Trustaes manages the Fund. All Trustees

serve on ine Board kx a penod ol 3 years, where after they retire but may be re-elected or -appointed.

The Board of Trustees currency has one vacancy for an appo-nted Board member who is a long standing (at teest 10 years) specialist In the medical field eft her practicing as

Pharmacist / Dentist / Hospital Administrator or in another medical discipline

The prospective candidate must be a Kamlnian citizen, a registered practitioner with the Health Professions Council of Nambia and in full time practice, with a keen interest in the medical aid funding Industry. A proven track record of excellent relations with ol’ier Namibian healthcare providers In the local Industry is a further pre-requisite.

Since al Board and Sub-Committee meetings are held after hours, the prospective applcant will be required Io attend such meetings after normal working hours The remuneration payable will bo equivalent to the cunent Board of Trustees sitting fee structure as approved by the AGM.

In terms of the Fund’s rules, any Trustee shall furthermore not be:

• Under the age of 21 years
• A person who is not a princpal member of the Fund
• A drector. member, employee or other off cal of any organisation serving as the Administrator of the Fund
• A director, member, employee or other crfftiai of any organisation rendering services to the Administrator In connection with the business of the Fund
• A diroclor, member. employee or other official of any organisation rendering services to the Administrator In connection with the business of the Fund
• The Principal Officer. Audtor, Consultant of the Fund
• Anyone who has been declared insolvent
• Anyone with a court judgement granted against hm/hor (Inclua ng a default judgement, finding of fraud financial mismanagement. misrepresentation or ashonesty) or a notice recorded by TranaUnlon ITC in the last 5 years
• Anyone with a crimrial record
• A person of unsound mho
