Guest House Manager

We are looking for an experienced Guest House Manager that is passionate about the guests experience and has a hands-on approach’.

An all-rounder who is willing to assist in all areas, where needed.

The Guest House Manager will be accountable for day-to-day management.

The ideal candidate should possess strong administrative abilities and great organizational skills, be an excellent host and a good employer.

Key Performance Areas & Requirements:

• Efficient management of day to day guest house operations including guest relations, housekeeping, breakfast service & food offerings, maintenance, sales & marketing and employee relations
• Ensuring guest rooms are maintained at the highest standard of cleanliness and comfort
• Responsible for maintaining and managing all inventory & stock
• Checking and reporting of required maintenance work
• Must have excellent communications skills
• Responsible for accounting related duties; ie. daily cash-up, petty cash
• Inspires, motivates and maintains good staff relations
• Schedules and directs staff’s daily duties
• Previous experience in similar roll
• Excellent computer skills MS office, email and reservation systems.
