Procurement Buyer

Overview:

Operate as part of a dynamic team, with regular interactions with international and local suppliers. The rok will suit meticulous and driven individuals adept in tunc management.

Qualifications, Experience:

o Grade 12

o Experience in FMCG wholesale industry* will be advantageous

o Following relevant degrees are advantageous:

• Supply Chain Management
• Business Administration
• Marketing

Key responsibilities:

o Identifying die organizations puichasing needs

o Researching, selecting and purchasing quality products

o Building relationships with suppliers and negotiating with diem for die best price, quantities and delivery timescales

o Updating inventory and managing stock levels

o .Arranging transport of goods and tracking orders to ensure timely delivery

o Understanding die target market and analyzing trends m order to make informed buying decisions

o Coordinating with marketing team, management, and warehouse

o Monitoring the stock quality and escalating any discrepancies to suppliers and management

Competencies and skills:

o Goal orientated, responsible individual

o Self-starter that w ill be held accountable for responsibilities

o Committed to convey a professional image at all times

o Excellent team play er yet have the ability to function independently

o Strategic and logical dunking

o Strong negotiating skills

o Microsoft Office experience (Word and Excel) is essential
