INFORMATION SPECIALIST ( BAND 6 ) – MRM (REF NO. MRM/2022-001)

The Challenge

The role strategically contributes to continual improvement of information through developing and documenting data audits, archiving and restoration processes. The incumbent will provide problem solving expertise and complex data analysis to develop business intelligence and integration entities; to support the overall Mineral Resources strategy.

The Ideal Applicant

• Bachelors’ Degree in Data Science or Information Management Qualification from a recognized tertiary institution.
• Three – Four (3 -4) years experience in a Special / Corporate data management facility, which includes experience in developing and implementing specialist information systems and services.
• Two (2) years Electronic integration of spatial data experience will be advantageous.
• Proficient in MS Office word processing and graphic applications
• Two (2) years Supervisory experience (added advantage)
• Good communication and Collaboration Skills
• Preference will be given to fully vaccinated employees meeting the requirements
