Primary purpose of position:

The Production Manager oversees the planning, implementation, tracking of projects which have specified deliverables, and ensure that all jobs/projects are assigned, scheduled, and organised properly in accordance with safety, environmental, and other technical directives. Responsibilities include scheduling the repairs and providing supervision ensuring that all deadlines are met, on time and within budget The incumbent is also responsible to establish effective relationships and communicate information regarding performance to continue to develop strong members.

Qualification requirements

• Degree in Naval Architocture/Marine/Mechanical Engineering.

Experience requirements

• Five (5) to Seven (7) years’ experience from Marine / mining i equivalent industries.
• And Five (5)years’ Management level experience.

Knowledge requirements

• Advanced knowledge of the specialised principles and practices of project development and execution.
• Advanced knowledge of project management.
• Understanding of project budgets and cost management.
• Advanced knowledge of quantitative analysis and methods of accurate data collection.
• Advanced knowledge of management information and financial management systems.
• Knowledge of government procedures and legislation.
