Post Designation : Senior System Administrator Grade 7

Salary Scale : N$280,064 – N$ 321,707 (P)
Housing Allowance : N$13,080 per annum
Transport Allowance : N$7,680 per annum
Minimum Requirement: A B-Degree qualification in Information Technology or equivalent
qualification at NQF Level 7 plus four (4) years of experience in System Administration and
Networks or Related field.
Additional Requirements: Additional Certificate in Microsoft Server 2012/2016 and/or CISCO,
CCNA and/or VMWARE Administration and/or VEEAM Backup and Replication
Administration will be an added advantage.
Key performance areas:
 Implement, maintain and monitor all aspects of the IT infrastructure.
 Responsible for system and software security.
 Testing and implementation of IT policies, strategies and Disaster Recovery Policy.
 Documentation of problems and compilation of troubleshooting guides.
 Analysing and implementing control measures to ensure data and network security.
 Coordinating installations, upgrades or enhancements to IT infrastructure systems and
network devices.
 Maintaining active directory of the domain.
 Implementation of directory access rights according to OAG policy.
 Overseeing the management of ICT resources.
 Rendering advice on the acquisition and disposal of computer equipment.
 Recommend major IT infrastructure projects.
 Coordinate priorities between the IT division and other departments within the OAG
