Salary Scale : N$269,189 – N$321,707
Housing Allowance : N$13,080 per annum
Transport Allowance : N$7,680 per annum
Minimum Requirement: An Appropriate Diploma on NQF L6, majoring in Accounting plus 5
years appropriate experience in Accounting.
Additional Requirements:
 A B-degree at NQF Level 7and above majoring in accounting.

 Extensive knowledge in modules of Integrated Financial Management System (IFMS).
 A Sound knowledge of government accounting system and reconciliation of accounts will
be preferred.
 Valid Driver’s License.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
 Controlling of regular payment of government funds;
 Verify and Authorize payments against tax invoices and all relevant documents;
 Approve payments on Integrated Financial Management System IFMS;
 Reconcile utility accounts;
 Reconcile payments;
 Ensure that staffs have signed performance agreements and that they are reviewed
quarterly;
 Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of the section;
 Evaluate the performance of subordinates;
 Assist in preparing monthly and annual financial reports;
 Assist in preparation of Audit reports and handling audit queries;
 Provide on-the-job training;
 Other related duties which may be assigned
