We are looking to fill the following vacancy:

2nd Electrical Engineer

Purpose of the role: Report to Chief Engineer. Responsible for all electrical & electronic equipment on vessel, to correctly service, maintain and operations electrical equipment.

Minimum role requirements & experience

STW95 F Class 2/1 (management Level) Marine Engineer certificate Unlimited with Offshore Electrical Engineering specialization or equivalent qualification CoC i.e. Electro-Technical Officer Red seal
Thorough knowledge of three phase power generation and distribution
Thorough knowledge of engine safety control systems, Alarms, on Soviet-built Meridien factory freezer trawlers.
Ensure safe working condition of electrical equipment
Ensure reliable condition, operation, and maintenance of all electrical equipment
Responsible of automation equipment (mechanisms, devices, systems, equipment)
Strong leadership
Good communication skills
Keep electrical documentation on record
