JOB TITLE        : TRAINING OFFICER: AGRICULTURE FARM MACHINERY (C3)

NUMBER OF POSITIONS :TW0(2)

DUTY STATION : RIETFONTEIN

DURATION : THREE (3) YEARS CONTRACT

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To engage in workshop instruction and training, including the academic, administrative, educational and disciplinary aspects and to organize extra and co-curriculum activities to increase Trainee’s knowledge and skills and prepare them for employment.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPAs)

Training preparation and planning;

Training evaluation/assessment and moderation;

Training administration and reporting;

Provide support to Trainees.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT

Diploma in Agriculture (NQF-6), Specialised in Farm Machinery and Horticulture/livestock (from accredited institution)

National Vocational Instructor Diploma (foreign qualifications must be evaluated by NQA). Driver’s License Code C

Namibian Citizen.

Supplementary requirements

Teaching experience in Agriculture, Farm Machinery and Horticulture/livestock.

Trainer of Trainer, Assessor and Moderator Certificate and Machinery Operator Licence will be an added advantage.
