MI­NISTER

POSITION: FULL TIME MI­NISTER DUTCH REFORMED CHURCH: ARANOS. PROFILE OF THE CONGREGATION: The congregation is situated in the  Central Eastern part of Nami­bia, in the Kalahari, and consists of 295 confessional members  and 81 children. The members are mainly livestock farmers. MAIN FOCUS OF THE MINIS- I RY: The empowerment of members for the caring and spiritual growth of the congregation to enable them to live as practicing Christians in the world. The priority of this fo­cus is the result of a prolonged drought, and also because of the effects of the Covid 19-pandemic crisis.

PROFILE OF CANDIDATE: A fully trained minister, trained at a registered/ recognized trai­ning facility of the Dutch Refor­med Church and duly Licensed to minister in the Dutch Refor­med Church by die Registrar of the DRC. Adhere to the requi­rements of Art 9 of the Church Order of the DRC. Special qua­lities: A special gift of spiri­tual and personal maturity in human relationships and team­work. The ability to reach out to younger people. Good phy­sical health to minister over vast distances.
