JOB TITLE        : ASSESSMENT, CURRICULUM AND QUALITY ASSURANCE OFFICER

NUMBER OF PPOSITIONS :ONE(1)

DUTY STATION : RIETFONTEIN

DURATION         : PERMANENT

PURPOSE OFTHE JOB

Oversees and administer the curriculum and assessment of trades.

Makes recommendations to the ways in which various Trades are being taught in order to enhance learning.

Acts as an evaluator of curriculum in order to ensure quality compliance and liaise with relevant stakeholders on matters related to Curriculum and Assessment.

Develop, monitor and enforce quality assurance policy.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPAs)

Ensures compliance to national assessment framework;

Takes custodianship of all administration related to curriculum;

M Provides leadership on instructional delivery system and methodology to ensure quality in all training interventions.

Advise on matters related to training, curriculum and assessment of trades.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT

Relevant Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification from accredited institutions;

5 years’ relevant experience in TVET system, of which 2 years in a supervisory position;

Namibian Citizen

Supplementary requirements

Experience in quality assurance and assessment coordination will be an added advantage.
