A private company operating in the fishing industry is looking to fill the following position:

Creditor’s Clerk [Walvis Bay]

This position reports to the Accountant

Key Performance Areas:

• Capture invoices for payment
• Reconciliation of creditors accounts

Attend to internal and external creditor queries

• Generate monthly payments
• General administrative duties
• Effective filing and record keeping

The suitable candidate will meet the following requirements:

• Namibian Citizen/permanent resident.
• Grade 12 (with mathematics).
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in a financial and accounting environment.
• Must have excellent knowledge of credit control policies, practices and procedures.
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Afrikaans.
• Advanced Computer skills (Excel and Pastel Evolution).
• Must be pro-active and self-motivated, excellent planning and organisation skills.
• No criminal record
• Incumbent must be honest, kind, have integrity and a willingness to learn.
