Westair Group HR Officer

We are looking for a motivated, dynamic individual to join our Company in the capacity of Group HR Officer. You will advise, assist and support Management to ensure an efficient and compliant HR Department. You will play a key role in the Company’s business operations and will thus need a flair for detail, enjoy working with people from diverse backgrounds and have the ability to deliver in a deadline driven, pressured environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the monthly preparation and review of payroll;
• Act as escalation point of contact for all HR and Payroll related queries;
• Administer Personnel Records and internal databases (End-to-end Employee Lifecycle);
• Administer applications for Employment Permits and Business Visas;
• Discipline and performance management;
• Recruitment and selection;
• Statutory Reporting (NTA, Employment Equity, SSC).
• Compliance management and process improvement
• HR policies and procedure administration

Qualifications and Experience:

• HR or Industrial Psychology related Degree or Diploma;
• Three or more years’ experience in a similar or related role, three years additional HR related experience in lieu of a Degree or Diploma;
• Strong understanding of Chapter 1 of the Labour Act 11 of 2007;
• Have the ability to set and achieve high standards.
