CLERK: CASHBOOK RECONCILIATION
The successful incumbent will be based at Corporate Office and report to the
Accountant: Debtors & Treasury

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Reconciles Agra’s bank account
statements on Sage X3
o Verifies cash and EFT transfers on
Agra’s bank accounts
o Identifies and follows’ up on
unknown payments and unknown
receipts on Agra’s bank accounts
o Reconciles the cashbook of all
branches with the bank
o Performs bank journals i.e.
preparing VAT, amendment of
errors, etc.
• Issues receipts for clients
• Assists with system issues/ trouble-
shooting
• Cash-up’s resolution
• Filing of documents
QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES:
• Namibian citizenship
• A Grade 12 Certificate
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in
Accounting and/ or Bookkeeping
• Must have experience in bulk
processing
• Proficiency in English & Afrikaans
• Computer Literacy (MS Excel & Sage
X3)
