Assistant Accountant / Accountant Windhoek, Republic of Namibia

Sat-Com (Pty) Ltd is an August 26 Group of Company that focuses on a wide range of communication solutions from the design, implementation to the delivery of turn key solutions for both large enterprises and government ministries Our Finance Team currently has the following exciting opportunity for an Assistant Accountant / Accountant to join a small but experienced team.

Key areas of responsibility:

• Processing of Accounting Data up to Trial Balance
• Preparation of VAT, Import VAT, PAYE returns, Social Security, VET
• Assist in preparation of Income tax and provisional taxes
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist in monitoring spending and budgets
• Assist in Quarterly and annual Financial forecasting, budget and reporting
• General office administration

Requirements:

• Accounting degree or studying towards accounting degree is an added advantage
• Computer literate (MS Office, Pastel, Sage Payroll)
• At least 5 years experience as Accountant
• Manufacturing company experience is an added advantage
• Good communication skills and valid Drivers Licence
• Vibrant, energetic, trustworthy personality
