Maintenance Manager
Requirements
A Bachelor s degree (NQF Level 7) In Built Environment/ Project Management or equivalent with at least five years’ experience and three years in a supervisory role OR a Diploma (NQF Level 6) with to years experience and seven years in a supervisory role. Experience In the management of facilities In a large organization with significant assets and buildings or proven competence In the construction industry Comprehensive understanding of basic specifications, trades, finishes, fixtures, and all construction-related activities. Proficient in English communication (oral and written) Sound knowledge, insight with regards to preventative maintenance, product specification, guarantees, local suppliers, contractors and sub contractors, and bask contract administration
Key Performance Areas
Maintain efficient day-to-day operation of the different trades within the Maintenance unit with all supporting documents and automated performance capturing systems. Plan and develop the Planned Routine Maintenance Schedule with all supporting documentation and associated costs to be included in Annual Sectional Budget. Establish and maintain the materials, tools, and equipment store with all supporting documentation Assist the Director in developing and implementing policies and protocol documents including but not limited to Standardized Specification and Finishes. SLA agreements and work schedules, annual rates, and costs indexes Assist In overseeing on site construction projects Plan, specify Implement, and complete smaller CAPEX projects
