Block9 Holdings (Pty) Ltd is an investment entity with multi-disciplines of investments. The company is embarking on investments in the production of layers and broilers in Northern Namibia. This investment will compliment and synergize with the existing aquaculture (tilapia and catfish cultivations), and horticulture businesses in Omusati region to form the first modern business model for permaculture in Northern Namibia. With this exciting focus, there is a vacant position for an energetic and dynamic person who has a proven track record in the sector of animal husbandry.

This permaculture facility is already accommodating students from National Youth Service and NUSTfor internship, skills development and general exposure in horticulture and aquaculture. The successful candidate will therefore play a critical role in skills transferring.

The successful incumbent will be responsible for preparing strategic direction for continuous improvement of the business in the management and cultivation of layers and broilers.

He/he will enhance the training and development of current trainees, graduates, and semi-skilled employees.

Job Requirements:

1. Namibian citizen
2. An Honors degree in Agricultural Science
3. More than five years relevant experience
4. Comprehensive understanding of all areas in crops, animals, horticulture, and human resources management
5. Driving License, Code B
6. Possess strong communication, problem solving, analytical skills and prioritizing skills.
