positions from 1 August 2021

1 X PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHER (PE)

Candidates for PE must:

• have an excellent command of the English language;
• have a recognised teaching qualification;
• have at least 3 years’ experience teaching PE to primary students (Preference will be given to someone with experience in the International Baccalaureate Primary Years programme (1BPYP).

Candidates for Mathematics Teacher (IGCSE & IBDP) must:

• have an excellent command of the English language;
• have a recognised teaching qualification;
• have at least 5 years’ teaching experience in the IGCSE & IBDP Programmes.

Windhoek International School offers the following Programmes/curricula:

• International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IBPYP), in Primary School;
• Cambridge International General Certificate for Secondary Education (IGCSE), in Grades 9 & 10;
• International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), in Grades 11 & 12.

Candidates applying for teaching positions are expected to have training and/ or experience in delivering this programmes, and.
