HUMAN CAPITAL (PATTERSON D3)
JOB SUMMARY: To plan, direct and coordinate overall human resources strategy for the organisation, develop and implement policies and procedures, and to provide counsel and assistance to all levels of management through specialised human resources service practitioners. The incumbent also facilitates major organisational interventions and human resources projects and monitors the implementation thereof.

- Recruiting, staffing and contracts;
- Organizational departmental planning;
- Performance management and improvement systems;
- Organization development;
- Policy development and documentation;
- Employee relations;
- Compensation and benefits administration;
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
- An Honours Degree in Human Resources Management or Public Administration at NQF Level 8 with 5 years’ work experience in the field of Human Resource Management of which 3 years should have been in a managerial capacity
- Code B Driver’s License
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- Highly analytical with good communication skills at an expertise and strategic level (able to get concepts and requirements across to others). With a very strong logical reasoning ability, attentive to detail but not detail bound. Systematic and able to look at solutions conceptually as well as from a practical perspective.
- Able to work with people constructively and use convincing arguments to get people committed to implementation of solutions.
- Knowledge of the Local Authorities Act, Labour Act and other relevant legislations
- Computer literacy & Sound Customer orientation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, Sound managerial ability.
