Position: Instructor: Defensive Driving

Station: NamPower Training Centre

Primary Purpose of the job:

The incumbent will be responsible for all training-related matters in the fields of: Advance Driving, Off-Road 4×4 Driving and Lifting Equipment and Driven Machineries. He/she will provide theoretical and practical training to all required NamPower Drivers/ Employees in Defensive Driving and Off-Road 4×4 Training. He/she will also coordinate Heavy Equipment training and Safety Standards according to the relevant Transport Education and Training Authorities that will directly impact on reducing the risk of injury/death to employees or damage to equipment/machinery as per Ministry of Labour’s Regulations and other relevant legislation.
