PC Support Engineer

Windhoek

The Position

• To provide on-site and remote technical assistance and support

Key Accountabilities

• Maintains organizations IT effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technology projects/initiatives.

Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and IT Asset register

• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
• Oversee maintenance of the IT environment within the organization

Qualification and experience

Minimum Qualification IT Diploma from a recognized institution

A+ and N+ Certification

MCS A / MCSE Certification would be an added advantage

ITIL V4 Certification on would be an added advantage

Knowledge of Windows 8/10 Operating Systems

Willing to work after hours (standby)

Minimum of 3 years experience .n desktop support environment

Good PC and network skills

Sound knowledge of business IT and networking experience

Knowledge of best practices and IT governance, including procedures and policies

Strong analytical skills

Customer responsiveness, timely and professional

Strong oral and written communication skills

Compiling business IT Needs Analysis

Innovation, creativity and troubleshooting skills

Code 8 valid driver’s license
