Introduction

Job Purpose: To ensure accuracy, validity and reliability of property valuations contributing to the credit approval and risk management process in Nedbank.

Key Responsibilities:

• Effective management and control of all administration of the valuation office.
• Ensure accuracy of data loaded onto valuation data base.
• Allocation of valuation requests to both internal and external valuator’s within a set time period.
• Ensuring that invoices of external valuator’s are timeously paid.
• Weekly follow-up on outstanding valuations and report to Head Valuations.
• Daily recording keeping of Valuation Register.
• Manage all internal and external SLA’s annually.
• Share knowledge and information (e.g. team player, able to consult and share with others)
• Identify areas that need to be improved.
• Do what is best in terms of the job and the bank’s business as a whole.
• Identify ways to provide more efficient, cost effective service towards our customers.
• Build and maintain strong working relations with internal and external clients.
• Protect the confidentiality of the bank and customer information at all times.
• Take ownership of problems and actions.

Requirements

Education and Experience Requirements:

• National Diploma: Property Valuations and/or BCS Hons: Property Real Estate.
• Minimum of 5 (Five) years extensive experience in a reputable Valuation Firm within Namibian Borders.
• Namibian Citizen
• Code 08 Drivers License
• Own transport
