POSITION: ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH PRACTITIONER
BAND: D
REQUIREMENTS
- 3 Year Diploma in Environmental Health, Public Health or equivalent qualifications
- 3 years relevant experience in similar capacity covering the entire spectrum of environmental health services of which at least 2 years should have been in Local Authority on a Supervisory level.
- Registered as Environmental Health Practitioner or Assistant with the Allied Health Professions Council of Namibia
- Driving license code B
- Registered as Peace Officer is an added advantage.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Enforce Health Management Services
- Solid Waste Management and pollution control- contractual and daily operations
- Inspections and compliance management
- Managing budget and reports
- Manage and develop staff.
