CIVIL/STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING – ONGWEDIVA

Ongwediva consulting Engineers (OCE), a Civil/Structural Engineering Consulting firm operating across Namibia, is seeking to recruit a qualified Civil/Structural Engineer. The successful applicant for the position shall possess the following attributes:

• A qualified Professional Engineer registered as such with the Engineering Council of Namibia, or Equivalent
• Have at least 10 years’ experience in Civil/Structural Engineering Design and Construction supervision
• Have at least 6 Years’ Management Experience in Consulting Engineering environment
• Have a clear track record in preparing tenders for Consulting Engineering Work with demonstrably significant success rate
• Have a demonstrable track record in training young and mid-career engineers for advancement in the profession
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Have integrity and a demonstrated capability to pay attention to detail
• Have demonstrated experience in road/bridge design and construction supervision
• Have experience in design and construction supervision of urban reticulation services including roads, potable water and waste water.
• Be proficient in use of Civil/Structural Engineering design/detailing and drafting software packages, including Prokon, Civil Designer, AutoCAD and Caddie
