Roles

• Providing legal advice and guidance
• Writing contracts
• Meeting clients (individuals or businesses)
• Attending court hearings
• Reading witness statements
• Collating evidence and researching case studies
• Keeping up to date with changes in the law
• Representing clients in trials.

Qualifications

• A practicing legal expert (registered in the High Court) with at least a minimum of 10 years corporate/litigation

General Requirements

Applicants should have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience as an Executive and possess sound knowledge and expertise or similar field of expertise in Law, Finance, Engineering, Agriculture Economist, Insurance/ Reinsurance and Medical Profession (Physician) to be able to contribute to the strategic direction of the Corporation. Insurance Industry knowledge will be an added advantage.

It is very important to emphasize that persons who currently serve on Two (2) or more Boards of any Public Enterprises in Namibia will not be considered.
