Roles

undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigations
using a range of computer software for developing detailed designs
undertaking complex calculations
liaising with clients and a variety of professionals including architects and subcontractors
compiling job specs and supervising tendering procedures
resolving design and development problems
managing budgets and project resources
scheduling material and equipment purchases and deliveries
making sure the project complies with legal requirements, especially health and safety
assessing the sustainability and environmental impact of projects
ensuring projects run smoothly and structures are completed within budget and on time.

Qualifications

A Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of ten (10) years industry experience
five (5) years of which should have been at Executive level and with a registration with Engineering Council.

General Requirements

Applicants should have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience as an Executive and possess sound knowledge and expertise or similar field of expertise in Law, Finance, Engineering, Agriculture Economist, Insurance/ Reinsurance and Medical Profession (Physician) to be able to contribute to the strategic direction of the Corporation. Insurance Industry knowledge will be an added advantage.
