REGISTERED AND ENROLLED NURSES: THEATRE CATH LAB
We are seeking Registered and Enrolled Nurses for our Catheterisation Laboratory, who excels in management, leadership, budgetary management skills and the ability to motivate staff. The incumbent needs to have well developed organisational, interpersonal, decision-making and conflict resolution skills.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
The incumbent will be responsible and accountable for:
- Quality Patient Care, service excellence and continuous quality improvement;
- Comprehensive Patient Care Audits;
- Overall Nursing Management of Patient;
- Risk and Asset Management;
- Adherence to Nursing policies, procedures and standards;
- Effective communication with Medical Practitioners and Hospital Management on nursing activities;
- Review patient care to ensure it meets legal, ethical, updated clinical and safety standards.
REGISTERED NURSES
A degree / diploma in general nursing and midwifery. A post-graduate Diploma in Operating Theatre will be an added advantage. Registered with the HPCNA. At least 5 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse preferably in a Theatre / Catheterisation laboratory environment.
ENROLLED NURSES
A certificate in nursing and registered with the HPCNA as Enrolled Nurse. 3 years or more experience as an Enrolled Nurse preferably in a Critical Care environment.
