EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

For the rehabilitation of TR1/3 between Keetmanshoop and Mariental (Section A: Between Tses intersection and Gochas intersection. This is a time bound project, employment will be fixed term.

Public Liaison Officer (PLO)

Responsibilities

• To keep the communities informed on the progress of the project;
• To liaise between Regional Authorities, Local Authorities, Constituencies and the Contractor;
• To keep the Contractor informed on relevant community affairs and possible grievances;
• Coordinate the negotiations between the Contractor and the beneficiaries that might be relocated or moved.

Requirements

• Grade 12 and at least 5 years relevant experience.
• Must be proficient in at least two (2) of the three (3) languages of the area (English. Afrikaans, Damara-Nama)
• Must have excellent communication skills.

Preference will be given for the appointment of the above position to the residents of Kharas and Hardap Regions
