Consultant( Administrative Officer) – Financial Literacy Initiative
1 year Contract (40 hours per week)
The Financial Literacy Initiative (FLI) is a national platform to enhance financial education for individuals as well as micro-, small- and medium sized enterprises in Namibia. The FLI is hosted by the Ministry of Finance under the Directorate of the Economic Policy Advisory Services (EPAS) since its inception in March 2012.
Duties and responsibilities include
- Organizing of internal and external meetings and workshops;
- Minute taking of all meetings and workshops;
- Filing of documents and educational material, and data capturing;
- Provision of administrative support to the various departments (e.g. seeking quotes);
- Acting as the point of contact between the manager and clients;
- Screening and directing phone calls and distribute correspondence;
- Handling requests and queries appropriately;
- Stakeholder liaison;
- Liaising with and managing service providers;
- Other tasks as might be requested by the supervisor and/or mentor;
- Platform Supporter contact management;
- Various other tasks supporting the management as well as the whole team (E.g. preparing presentations, stock taking etc.)
General
- Execute duties according to the latest version of the Memorandum of Understanding of the FLI
- Execute duties according to the Financial Policy and Procedure Guidelines
Requirements and qualification
At least a Bachelor’s Degree Business Administration at NQF level 7
At least 3 years of experience administration and Secretary will serve as an Advantage. Must be proficient in Microsoft office suite.
Code B driver’s license will be advantageous.
Annual total cost to company: NS 90 000 per year
