Key Accounts Supervisor

Introduction Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem-solving, and results. The successful incumbent will manage and oversee various off-site employees.
Specification KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- MAN-ON-SITE WORKFORCE (MoS)
Continuously review the justification for MoS services at the identified Sites and motivate any termination of or additional Sites to be serviced.
Formalise official service contracts with owners/managers of the Sites.
Ensure sufficient resources are allocated to the Sites to render a cost-effective professional service.
Ensure sufficient Leave Releasers (2) to be available on a full-time basis.
Ensure MoS workforce is officially employed and equipped with prescribed safety clothes and equipment.
Conduct continuous on-site training on relevant issues such as health and safety procedures and professional public conduct.
Manage the HR functions of the MoS workforce, including monthly work schedules, attendance registers, leave, discipline and general training.
Daily Site visits to ensure clean, organized work practices.
Ensure that all site procedures are always updated as per client request and signed off by MoS.
- BUY-BACK CENTERS (BBC)
Draft a proposal to management regarding the establishment of and operational procedures for Buy-Back Centres at strategic positions throughout Namibia.
Negotiate and appoint Independent Contractors to operate these BBC’s as per the contract and guidelines approved by management.
Conduct continuous quality control and training at the various BBC’s to ensure cost effective optimization of collection and sorting of recyclables at the BBC premises.
Ensure professional recordkeeping and administration of recyclables processed through the BBC’s and the appropriate payment procedures.
- SPECIAL PROJECTS
Submit a weekly updated schedule of proposed special projects, indicating the time, venue, and resources required and budgeted cost implications.
Special projects include scheduled and ad-hoc events in and outside the Windhoek area, such as Windhoek Show, Namibian Tourism Expo, and clean-up campaigns throughout Namibia.
A feedback report, as well as a final cost summary and claims for refunds, must be submitted within a week of completion of a special project.
- CLEAN UP EVENTS
Coordinate and arrange all prior arrangements for a specific event.
Ensure all resources are available for a specific Clean up event.
Ensure all arrangements are made for equipment needed for Event.
Overall supervision of any Clean up event.
- GENERAL
Attendance of regularly scheduled Company meetings.
Compiling and timely submission of required reports as requested by Company management.
Maintain open communication channels with all stakeholders and ensure timely professional feedback and follow-up on operational issues.
Honour all relevant stipulations of contracts and agreements between the Company and its stakeholders.
Maintain a well-organised administration and document filing system.
Assist Company management with relevant ad-hoc tasks when required.
To do Waste Audits at potential / current clients.
Requirements
At least 5 years’ supervisory experience required
Grade 12
Promptness and Assertiveness
Must be self-driven and not require micromanagement
Building and maintaining good customer relationships Strong problem-solving skills
Attention to detail is a very important
Strong commitment to delivering customer excellence
Strong organisation skills to effectively manage and prioritise workload
Proven ability to work with diverse groups of people
Ability to work within a team environment
