Hospital Pharmacists are responsible for monitoring the supply of all medicines used in the Hospital and are in charge of purchasing, manufacturing, dispensing and quality testing their medication stock along with help from pharmacy assistants and pharmacy technicians

Opportunity | Duty Requirement(s)

• Pharmacy Degree
• Must be registered with HPCNA
• Minimum of 2 years experience

• Serves patients by preparing medications
• Giving Pharmacological information to multidisciplinary health care team
• Monitoring patient drug therapies
• Prepares medications by reviewing and interpreting physician orders and detecting therapeutic incompatibilities
• Maintains records for controlled substances
• Maintains current registration, studies existing and new legislation, advises management in needed actions
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, regulations.
