JOB ROLE
To interact with customers, by providing and processing information in response to inquiries, concerns and requests regarding applications for water connections and customer accounts.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
❖ Qualifications
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Bookkeeping/Accounting qualification will be added advantage
Experience
■ 2 years’ experience on customer care environment
- Legal Requirements
- Driver’s License Code B
- Competencies, Skills & Abilities
- Excellent Communication, Listening and Interpersonal skills
- Telephone Etiquette
- Excellent Negotiations skills
- Analytical and Problem Solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs: Microsoft Excel & Word
- Organizing & Administrative skills
- Sound numerical skills
- High level of accuracy with attention to detail
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices (Customer service orientation)
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision & under pressure
- Knowledge of local languages will be an added advantage
Key Performance Areas
- Facilitate new applications
- Handling customer queries
- Check customer account balances on SAP
- Handling customer reversals
- Handling connection list of new customers
- Handle cutting list of defaulting customers
- Updating new customer register on SAP
- Assist with purchase of connection materials for new customers connections
