Qualifications

• Medical Doctor with more than 12 years of combined experience in Health Care, Pharmaceuticals, Education or Research
• Specialty in Epidemiology or Public Health
• Sub-specialty in Infectious Diseases or Fellowship on HIV
• Training in advanced clinical research methods
• Training on Leadership and/or Business Management

Required Skills and Experience

• Groundbreaking research in the areas of HIV or Infectious Diseases
• Previous experience in research and development, training and coaching

• Knowledge and experience in designing and/or implementing clinical trials, and critical appraisals of clinical trial reports
• Well established track record in effective medico-marketing
• Proven track record of conducting product specific market survey, analysis and interventions.
• Experience in the Pharmaceutical sector pertaining planning, organizing and facilitating Technical Advisory Board Meetings
• Experience in Disease and Health Market Trend Analysis
• Well-established experience in developing business proposals for setting-up Pharmaceutical manufacturing plants
• A very good grasp of cGMPs standards for Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing
• Understanding of Pharmaceutical regulatory frameworks
• Established experience in Business development in the health and pharmaceutical sector

• Experience in starting up and managing pharmaceutical marketing or manufacturing company
• Knowledge and experience in the area of pharmacovigilance
• Competence in conducting post marketing surveillance
• Ability to work under fast-paced environment where professional engagement outside ordinary hours of work may be required.
