PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Responsible for business planning and operations to pro-actively ensure that all required sales targets are met and to develop and maintain sales performances.

KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver a business plan that will drive sales volume and profit for clients and the companies of Namib
• Retention, maintenance and expansion of current and future customer base at Namib Mills.
• Build strong customer relationships and address specific customer needs.
• Manage customer perceptions and ensure adequate service delivery.
• Analyse and report on customer business to ensure growth.
• Coach and manage sales team / merchandisers to drive the business forward at Namib Mills.
• Accurate customer administration.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Grade 12 (NQF4) with at least five (5) years’ relevant experience in FMCG OR a relevant tertiary qualification with at least three (3) years’ relevant FMCG experience.
• Preference will be given to candidates with FMCG experience.
• Must have strong financial analytic skills
• Namibian citizen.
• Valid Namibian driver’s licence.
• Must be proficient in English.
• Excellent Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Must be willing to travel and work extensive hours.
