FIRE AND EMERGENCY OFFICER

POSITION:                                  1 X FIRE AND EMERGENCY OFFICER : Grade B3

Salary Scale:                                NS 87 054 — 90 643 per annum

Transport Allowance:                NS 7 704 per Annum

Housing Allowance:                  20% of the Annual Basic Salary

Medical AID:                              85% Council Contribution

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12, with 20 point in 6 subjects, minimum E symbol in English
• Certificate in Firefighting 1 & Emergency Care Practitioner Basic
• 2 years of relevant work experience in firefighting & Emergency services
• Code C Driving License
• Be a Namibian Citizen and Customer Oriented
• Sound Communication and Interpersonal Skills
• Firefighting techniques, First Aid knowledge

NB: Candidates with foreign qualifications must attach proof of evaluation of such qualification from Namibia Qualification Authority (NQA)
