Introduction

Primary Purpose of the Position:

•The Head: Development Fund Accounting role in the Finance department will Administer and manage the finances of the DF, including budgets, reports, financial projections, cash flow, audit deliverables, etc.
•The incumbent will also be responsible for the overall grants/financial management strategy of the unit, building financial management capacity at all funded projects across the country and for managing project finances.

•Manages and runs the Grants & Financial Management Function of the DF
•Financial Services and Processes
•Administrative Support Services
•Monthly Reporting Processes
•People management
•Customer Care (internal and external)
Requirements

Job Requirements:

•Honours Degree in Accounting Finance, Accounting, Commerce or equivalent NQF Level 8 qualification.
•Minimum 5-7 years working experience in grants financial management, finance, accounting, and/or auditing of which 3 years should be at a supervisory level. Such experience should have been gained from working in non-governmental organizations, development aid agencies or financial institutions.
• Donor Fund-based Accounting Experience

•Maintain high ethical standards
