Key Responsibilities
- Closely coordinate component condition monitoring by utilizing available diagnostic tools such as Vision Link, CAT SOS Services, CAT Wear management and CAT Inspect
- Manage wear components by using CAT Undercarriage and Ground Engaging Tools (GET) wear management platforms to monitor wear rates and optimize component life
- Prepare and provide detailed reports on component condition, wear trends, and maintenance recommendations
- Coordinate demand planning based on equipment condition monitoring and predictive maintenance data
- Drive the parts ordering process according to identified component and maintenance requirements to ensure availability of critical parts
- Coordinate and plan interval maintenance schedules in line with OEM recommendations and maintenance best practice principles
- Ensure that correct tools and equipment are available to perform maintenance activities to the required standard
- Liaise with the Service Line of Business (LOB) to implement product improvement programs and service letters
- Work closely with the costing administrator to coordinate parts delivery, returns, and cost trackinge
Requirements
- Gr. 12, passed
- Qualified Artisan with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the mining industry
- At least five (5) years’ experience in track-type equipment repair and maintenance
- Familiarity with CAT condition monitoring and wear management platforms will be an added advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Must be in possession of a Code of Conduct not older than 6 Months
- Must have a Valid Driver’s Licence – manual transmission
- Accommodation in Oranjemund to be an added advantage
- Required to be based on MA1 site
