TotalEnergies EP Namibia (in collaboration with the Embassy of France in Namibia and with the support of Petroleum Training and Education Fund (PETROFUND)) is launching a scholarship programme for Namibian students to obtain a Master’s Degree at the IFP school (Institut Français du Pétrole) in France for the 2026 intake. IFP is a prestigious French public engineering and postgraduate school specialising in energy. The medium of instruction is English.
Key Responsibilities
- MSc. Petroleum Engineering and Project Development (2 scholarships)
- MSc. Subsurface Technologies for Sustainable Energies (2 scholarships)
- Duration: The scholarship is granted for a 16-month continuous (full-time) programme at IFP School.
- Internship: Includes an internship programme which will be offered within TotalEnergies EP Namibia.
- Employment Opportunity: Upon successful completion of the MSc program, the scholar could be offered employment with TotalEnergies EP Namibia.
Requirements
- Must be a Namibian citizen.
- Must hold a Bachelor’s or Honours degree in engineering (all disciplines) from Namibian institutions.
- Must have completed the degree with an average pass mark of at least 60%.
- Only applicants with less than 1 year of working experience and less than 1 year from graduation will be considered.
- Knowledge of the French language is not a prerequisite but would be beneficial for social life in France.
