Job Title: VET Trainer – Occupational Health & Safety – Level 4 (Temporary)
Role Purpose (General Career Description):
Providing a high-quality teaching and learning experience to Trainees, making ongoing contributions to the academic mission of the Institute in the areas of Training and Assessment delivery, Trainees Support and personal development, industry relations, Academic administration in accordance with the Institute strategic goals. Additionally, develop and produce Training materials and deliver either across a range of manuals or unit standards, ensure the efficient and effective delivery of Vocational Programmes in accordance with the standard requirements of the Namibia Training Authority (NTA).
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to trainees.
- Contribute to the academic mission in areas of training and assessment delivery.
- Provide trainee support and personal development.
- Manage industry relations and academic administration.
- Develop and produce training materials (manuals or unit standards).
- Ensure efficient and effective delivery of vocational programs according to NTA standards.
Requirements
- National Vocational Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (NQF Level 5).
- First Aid and Fire Fighting Training Certificate.
- Assessor Training Certificate (will be added as an advantage).
- Three (3) years work experience as a VET Trainer.
- Knowledge of TVET Training and Assessment Delivery and Materials/Tools Development.
- Flexibility with ability to provide support to trainees.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload.
- Ability to communicate with stakeholders and work together to achieve desired outcomes.
Salary
N$ 6,000.00
